CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
As the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we wanted to let you know that Strip, Hoppers, Leithart, McGrath & Terlecky Co., LPA continues to monitor the situation. We remain fully operational to meet the needs of our clients. While we are open, please be assured that the health and safety of our firm and clients is our number one priority. Your understanding as we work through these unprecedented events is most appreciated.
With health and safety as a priority, we are adjusting our operations as follows:
We are limiting in person meetings to those that are absolutely necessary, in particular those meetings where original signatures are required by law.
We are following the recommendations and guidelines set forth by health officials and elected leaders. We are doing so to protect the health and well-being of the staff and attorneys at our firm, as well as you, our clients.
We are limiting external visitors to our office but are always accessible by email and phone and will continue to be a resource to all of our clients now more than ever.
For those in-person meetings that are absolutely necessary, we can meet you in our main office in German Village, or in our Dublin, Ohio office if that is more convenient for you.
During this turbulent time, there are numerous legal issues that may need to be addressed, including those covered by Ohio Director of Health’s March 22, 2020 Stay at Home Order. They will involve contracts, employment, pending lawsuits and associated deadlines, the filing of new lawsuits, claims where the statute of limitations is approaching, custody and visitation concerns, creditor claims, landlord-tenant issues, potential business or personal insolvency, real estate transactions and refinancing, and traffic/criminal matters. In addition, now may be a good time to address any estate planning needs that you may have. Our law firm is ready to guide you in these and other areas of the law as we move forward in this turbulent time.
It is important to be aware that many of these legal issues have arisen since the outbreak of the virus.
During this time of physical distance, a concept that is foreign to all of us, communication is very important. We are here and able to assist in any way we can. We remain ready, willing and able to provide counsel, advice and representation as needed.
Please continue to protect yourself, your families and friends and to follow the guidelines of the health professionals as we respond as a country to this rapidly changing and extraordinary situation.
From the Attorneys at Strip, Hoppers, Leithart, McGrath & Terlecky Co., L.P.A.
