Diana L. Severance

Diana L. Severance is a certified legal assistant who joined the firm in June of 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Hearing from the Ohio State University in 1981, and her paralegal certification from Capital University Law School in 1994.

Ms. Severance assists multiple attorneys of the firm with business, real estate and probate matters. Her primary focus is on estate administrations which have allowed her to become professionally and personally acquainted with the staff at the Franklin County Probate Court.

Prior to joining Strip, Hoppers, Leithart, McGrath & Terlecky, Diana spent six years in a non traditional paralegal role as an Ohio Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner for a local Third Party Administrator (TPA). Diana spent her last few years with the TPA as a member of an elite team specializing in settlement of workers’ compensation claims.

Ms. Severance is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Paralegal Association of Ohio (PACO). She has served on various committees of PACO, and currently serves as a volunteer with the Northland Legal Clinic.

Ms. Severance, a Clintonville native and current resident, enjoys singing with her church choir and playing softball with The Columbus Ski Club.
